This timber construction chook house with oil stained, weatherboard exterior will house up to 12 hens. It has 4 nest boxes with external access for collecting eggs.

All ground contact timber is H4 treated, other timber H3 treated.

The roost bar has a tray underneath to keep the house clean & it can easily be scraped out through the door at the back into a wheelbarrow.

There is a hatch on one side to allow the hens in and out freely during the day without the front door needing to be open & they can be easily be shut in at night.

The roof is Zinc Duralume (not colour steel) this reflects more heat and helps keep the house cooler in the hot summer sun.
